Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A RANGE of plastics fittings designed I-I-for use with semi-rigid piping, and the addition of double male adapters to its standard fittings range, is announced by Martonair Ltd., Parkshot, Richmond, Surrey.

The plastics fittings range consists of four 0.25 in. outside diameter by 0.25 in. outside diameter female fittings—a straight adapter, a straight connector, an elbow connector and a tee connector. The bodies of the fittings are of high-density polythene and connector nuts are of brass. Maximum working pressure is 150 p.s.i. and maximum working temperature is 80°C.

The double male adapters are designed so that flow regulators, quick exhaust valves and so on can be screwed directly into cylinder port connections. Adapter sizes are 0.375 in. by 0.25 in. in anodised aluminium alloy and 0.375 in, by 0-5 in. in mild Lsteel. They are available in B.S.P. and N.P.T. threads.
