I F a diesel engine should completely empty its fuel tank, air is drawn into the pump system and a complicated bleeding procedure becomes necessary. Patent No. 905,703 discloses a floatoperated fuel valve that stops the engine before the tank finally empties. The patent comes from C. Williams, 12 Blenheim Drive, Oxford.
