Renault vehicles of 566,000 represents an increase of 44 per cent over 1961, and constitutes a record in French automobile manufacture. Of the 566,000 vehicles, 66,000 were commercial vehicles.
Magirus-Deutz-France KLOCKNER HUMBOLDTDEUTZ AG, of Cologne, West Germany, manufacturer of Magirus-Deutz conimenial vehicles, has formed a French subsidiary for home and foreign trading in its products. Called IVIagirus-DeutzFrance, the company has a capital of 100,000 francs.
A.E. Profit Down AissOCIATED ENGINEERING LTD., among whose constituent companies are Hepworth and Grandage, Wellworthy, Bricovmo, and Coventry Radiator and Presswork, made a profit of £1,331,548 for the year ended September 30, 1962, a drop on the profit of £1,494,116 for 1961.
