Dunlop sought the injunctions against the Longlife Battery Depot, Charminster Road, Bournemouth, .which is under the proprietorship of Mr. J. C.

Clark, Percy Road, Boscombe. Mr. F. W. I3eney, Q.C., for the respondent, said that it was desired to produce evidence on his behalf, and applied for an adjournment.

The judge adjourned the motion until today on an undertaking given by Mr. Clark in the terms of the injunctions asked. Mr. Lionel Edwards, Q.C., for Dunlop, agreed to the adjournment. Dunlop, he said, were asking for an injunction to restrain the respondent from infringing their letters patent by selling or supplying covers for car or giant pneumatic tyres, covers, tubes or flaps.

A further injunction was sought to restrain Mr. Clark from reselling tyres and tubes acquired other than for the purposes of resale in the course of business.
