I am delighted to see the support for the mass lobby of Parliament on 24 February. Remember to contact your MP beforehand to let him or her know you are coming, and ask for a meeting.
The RHA can only persuade ministers if it has the industry behind it, so do yourselves a favour and be there.
I noted the worry about "Fair play on fuel" as a campaign slogan. I understand the concern, but here's the challenge. Find me a slogan in no more than four words, no more than four letters in each word, that sum up the industry's concerns comprehensively. I would genuinely welcome suggestions for improvement. Let CM have your ideas, and if we can use them, we Steven Norris, Director-general, Road Haulage Association.
