The 1,000 Point Test was once again carried out in the HunsrOck region of southwest Germany, from the Rasthof Hochwald services. The Hunsruck's very hilly nature makes it an excellent testing ground for the trucks.

On our previous test, there was a building site stretching about 5km along the test route, with speed restrictions in place; we discounted this section from the results. This time, there were no such problems, but the weather did occasionally jump from freezing cold wind with rain to glorious spells of sunshine. So, perfect test conditions really...
