Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Prevention of rusting from the inside as well as outside is provided by a process employed by Endrust Autotruck Rustproofing Co Ltd, 28 George Street, Birmingham, in a service that is offered to vehicle operators on the company's premises.

Small holes are drilled in body panels as required to enable the treatment to be applied with a spray of metalloorganic-phosphate resin to normally inaccessible surfaces, the same type of spray being applied to external surfaces. The process is guaranteed to give "complete protection" for six years, or 60,000 miles, to the areas treated. Applied by expert operatives with a special type of spray gun, the material is said to give a tough and pliable coating that, does not drip, crack or peel. The drilled holes are subsequently sealed with plastics plugs.

The company plans shortly to open further branches in the Midland area.
