• Mr D. D. Boyd, the BRSL shop steward in Glasgow, has been suspended for four weeks following an appeal to the management against the decision to dismiss him (CM December 11). The dismissal notice has been withdrawn on the understanding that the SCMU and Mr Boyd have given undertakings, one of which is that the shop steward will utilize the proper procedure for complaints in future.
