• The integration of the Calor Gas road fleet and Monkton Motors into a single Transport Division of Calor Group is recorded in the Group's annual report, just published. A unified depot system and a single road fleet are expected to result in considerable operating advantages, says the report.
Extra maintenance facilities have been installed around the country, and steps are being taken to achieve complete tractive unit /sem i-t railer interchangeability, though this is expected to take some time.
