DEWSBURY haulage contractors Johr Wilkinson, 57, of Cemetery Road, anc his son John Wilkinson, 29, of Fairtiek Crescent, pleaded guilty at Dewsbury las week to four counts of corruptly giving a tota of £10 to weighbridge men at a Mirfielc works. At the time, it was said, Wilkinson ant his son were in business dealing witl bagging and waste and Ellis and Lupton wen employed by John Cotton (Jute) Ltd. Huddersfield Road, Mirfield. The Wilkinson sold bagging to the firm. Because incorrec weights were entered on the tickets o bagging delivered, it was alleged, the Wilkin sons had received more money from flu firm than they should have done.
