The Greenock Tramway Co. have recently instituted a service of buses to serve the upper parts of Greenoek and the outlying districts of the town. The initial service is beiug maintained by three vehicles, but the company have planned to increase the Service when it is proVed that sufficient traffic is available. They have .ordered in all 12 buses, and the type of vehicle which is being favoured is the Daimler 32-seater fitted with giant pneumatic tyres. So soon as these vehicles are delivered they will be put into service, but, meanwhile, the company have secured, on loan, three vehicles from the Scottish Transport Co.
