Haul-It agency to supply Asda with drivers in the South West
RUGBY-BASED DRIVER recruitment agency Haul-lt has been selected by Asda to supply drivers for the supermarket giant's transport operations in the South West.
The agency already services Asda depots, but the additional supply of lorry drivers for Chepstow, Portbury and Didcot will be a boost for the employment firm.
Haul-It director Garry Shipman recently announced that several major contract \A/11s would enable the company to continue growing throughout 2009 and 2010.
The announcement comes as it was revealed Haul-It had boosted turnover by 10% during the second quarter of the year.
An Asda spokeswoman says "We've been working with Haul-It for a while because they already service some of our depots in the South East. They are supporting us in the South West now, too, but this will not take away business from any of our other agencies."
Shipman was not available for comment.
