a he Hawk is very grateful to G Dean of Blackpool for l bring to his attention a piece from his local paper, the Gazette. Following an accident on the M6, it reported that a lorry had crashed into the central reservation and: "shed its load of 200 tons of frozen pigs". Why, it's a miracle! Surely this vehicle was built to the same specifications as Dr Who's TARDIS (deceptively small on the outside; a mansion on the inside). But that's not all. The paper went on to say that police had to close the motorway to mop up "100 tons of spilt diesel fuel". That's not a spillage, my journalistic friends, that's a lake.
