T HE Northern Ireland Road Haul' age Wages Council have provisionally recommended to the Ministry of Labour that adult goods-vehicle drivers be paid an extra 5s. per 44-hour week in A and B areas and 5s. 6d. in C areas,
Representatives of the Amalgamated Transport and General Workers' Union have expressed dissatisfaction with the proposals, as provincial workers' rates would be 2s. 6d. below those of Ulster Transport Authority's employees.
