Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

ANEW development in the A.C.V. passenger range is the Regent Mark V double-decker chassis with A.E.C. 7.75-litre oil engine, to be exhibited by the Crossley concern. The overseas version of the Daimler Freeline chassis with a 20-ft. 4-in, wheelbase is also a recent model. The Leyland Royal Tiger Worldmaster single-deck models to be displayed form a new series of underfloor-engined chassis, specifically designed for the export market.

In addition, there will be a new Austin taxi chassis with the B.M.C. 2.2-litre oil engine. The Beardmore concern will be showing their first postwar taxi chassis, which is powered by a Ford Consul 47 b.h.p. petrol engine.

On the Dennis stand will he found a new lightweight underfloor-engined chassis and an ambulance chassis incorporating many interesting design features.

Of the vehicles to be shown by the A.C.V. group, which embraces A.E.C., Crossley and Maudslay, the Reliance, Regent Mark V and Monocoach, will be exhibited at Earl's Court for the first time. The Reliance was designed for 41-44-seat bodies. It has an A.E.C. 7.75-litre underfloor oil engine, fivespeed synchromesh gearbox and singlereduction spiral-bevel axle.

An example of the Monocoach will be staged by A.E.C. with 44-45-seat Park Royal coachwork. This vehicle is chassisless, the mechanical components being similar to those used in the Reliance chassis. Excluding the underframe, the bodywork weighs under 2 tons. The Regent Mark V, which will be found on the Crossleystand, differs from forerunners of this marque in the frontal styling, which provides for a wider angle of vision for the driver.

The Albion Victor chassis will be shown with a Harrington 35-seat luxury coach body and as a service bus with Mulliner all-metal body for 33 passengers. The latter vehicle is for export to West 'Africa.

The B.M.C. 2.2-litre oil engine of the new Austin taxi chassis develops 55 b.h.p. at 3,500 r.p.m. and has a compression ratio of 20 to 1. It represents one of the smallest oil engines to be put into quantity production.

In addition to an Atkinson chassis with Duple Elizabethan luxury coach body to be shown on the maker's stand, there will be a new double-decker chassis available in the demonstration park. This model has a Gardner

The chassis specifications, which are similar, include a 120 b.h.p, engine, five-speed gearbox and overhead wormdrive axle.
