• Choosing an Actros engine is simple—V6 or V8. Both Euro-3 engines have gained various tweaks to their turbochargers and breathing, cylinder heads and injectors along with the adoption of new pistons. The changes have led to modest increases in power and torque across the board (see below for actual ratings) of between 5-10%.
As before all Actros tractors come with the 16-speed Telligent gearbox with either standard EPS manual shift or the optional two-pedal Autotrans automated variant.
