Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

seen it all but the Government planning to pay truck operators to sit in parking lots with their fridges running rather than delivering goods around the country is the last straw (CM 10-16 October).

The thing is it actually makes sense: they've got thousands of tonnes of dead unsaleable meat to store, which is a bit unusual, and they've got to find somewhere to store it. But it makes you realise what a daft bunch they are. I mean, how the hell do you get into a position where you have thousands of tonnes of unsaleable meat to store?

And what about the businesses and people whose livelihoods depended on it being saleable?

These are questions that should be answered—maybe we'll find the time to do that while we're sitting in our cabs in car parks tending the nation's beef produce...
