THE FREIGHT Transport Association (FTA) and Road Haulage Association’s (RHA) haulage-themed Christmas cards (pictured) have caught CM’s eye this year. Well, the eye of one member of staff who has become ever so slightly obsessed with them; she says: “With an ever-pressing need to improve the industry’s image, they are a cracking way to highlight the road transport sector in a fun, light-hearted way.” We think she needs to get out more. But you have to admire the RHA and FTA for using the cards to showcase the lorry as a colourful, useful way of shifting stuff around the country rather than the great smelly beasts many members of the public regard trucks as.
