Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

10 new Scania tractor units as part of a fleet-replacement programme.

The first of the vehicles, all RSeries 420 6x2s with Topline cabs, will be delivered in March 2006.

Proprietor David Hathaway says the cab interiors are top of the range: "They've all been specced with leather, wood and so on, because that's what the drivers demand these days." The £700,000 overall price tag includes five-year repair and maintenance contracts.

Hathaway says business is currently steady, although it has been bolstered by the company's partnership with several other regional hauliers, including AK Workington, Knights of Old, Viamaster, Magnus and WL Valiance.

The partnership was conceived by the operators concerned as a means of minimising the effects of the Work ing Tim e Directive.
