Hampshire-based Gentrac Systems has expanded its mobile calibration service to cover the entire UK and Channel Islands. With six technicians spread nationwide the company aims to meet all requests for its services within two hours.
According to Gentrac's Martin Pond, the new scheme offers an all-in-one service, including testing, repair or Gentroc Systems offers on-site calibration of tools and equipment adjustments and immediate certification via laptop computers.
Equipment covered includes torque wrenches, tyre inflators and gauges.
All certification and adminis tration is handled by Gentrac and the testing equipment used is traceable to NAMAS or NPL standard.
Technicians work at a rate of £47 per hour and can usually process five tools in this time.
No charge is made for travelling or estimating, and calibration reminders are included in the standard fee. Contact Gentrac on (0703) 254392.
