The Transport Act 2000 (Commencement No1 and Transitional Provisions) Order 2000. CIF throughout 2001. This order introduces the first element of last year's Transport Act, which concerns concessionary travel in and outside Greater London. The Motor Vehicles (Type Approval of Reduced Pollution Adaptations) (Amendment) Regulations 2000. CIF 5 January 2001. Amend the prescribed Type Approval requirements for reduced pollution apparatus fitted to vehicles to reflect the lower emissions requirements of Directive 1999/96/EC.
The Vehicle Excise Duty (Reduced Pollution) (Amendment) Regulations 2000. CIF 5 January 2001. Amend the level of particulate emissions which a vehicle must meet in order to obtain an ARC0.08g/kWh now becomes the Furo-4 standard 0.03.
The Road Vehicles (Authorised Weight) Regulations 2001. CIF 17 April 2001. Correct a number of errors that were made in the drafting of the 2000 regulations (912000/3224).

The Vehicle Excise Duty (Immobilisation, Removal and Disposal of Vehicles) (Amendment) Regulations 2001. CIF 9 April 2001. Allow for increases in the charges payable for the removal, storage and release of impounded vehicles. The existing prescribed charges have been raised by about 20%.
The Transport Act 2000 (Commencement 11e5) Order 2001. CIF 1 April 2001. Brings into effect all the remaining provisions of the Transport Act 2000 (Part 1) with the exception of some air traffic services regulations.
