Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Q1MPLE but effective door-check stays kJ to hold open the driver's and passenger's doors on van and car models in the B.M.C. Mini ranges have been introduced by L. F. Brenner Ltd., 235 Halfway Street, Sidcup, Kent. The chromium-plated stays arc held in place by the bolts and screws used for the normal check-straps which are replaced. Fitting takes only a few minutes. As the door is opened fully, notches in the twin links of each stay engage with drillings in a fixed plate through which the links pass, thus holding the door from falling or being blown shut in all except very strong winds. Yet the stay offers little resistance to the door being shut normally when required.

These door stays cost 16s. 6d. a pair.
