A NEW Tico hydraulic lorry-mounted rk crane—the model K.100E—is now available from the U.K. concessionnaires, Colchester Tillage Ltd., 79 Hythe Hill, Colchester, Essex. It is suitable for loads of up to 51.5 cwt. and the standard boom length is 17 ft. 6 in. An alternative 15-ft.long boom is made and a 24-ft.-long boom will be introduced in due course.

As with other Tico models a powerdriven winch is incorporated in. the boom. This enables loads to be winched in from inaccessible, sites and raised or lowered into excavations, The boom can be swung a full 360' continuously in either direction.

The crane is mounted centrally on the vehicle chassis, behind the cab, the space

required between the cab and body. being 17-75 in. Hydraulic stabilizers, adjustable to suit most chassis, are located on both sides of the vehicle.

With a I7-ft. 6-in, boom the K.100E costs £810. The price for the crane with a 15-ft. boom is £795.
