THE ScarnmeIl Univan boxvan semitrailer can now be supplied with Fourtrak twin-oscillating-axle running gear for each of the standard lengths22 ft., 24 ft. and 26 ft.—in which this model is offered. This running gear is available on both the fifth-wheel-coupling and M.H. automatic-coupling versions. A fifth-wheel-equipped Univan with Fourtrak running gear can, state the manufacturers, carry a 15-ton payload,
Univans are now available with a width of 8 ft. and with body height increased to 8 ft. 11 in. overall. Also, the whole range of these boxvan semi-traders can be fitted with heavyor light-duty aluminium alloy flooring, a roller shutter in lieu of rear doors, or two hinged upper rear doors and an alloy tailgate. and a roller-shutter side door giving 3-ft. 6-in. clear opening.
Atkinson Comforts
UILTED bonnet covers are now standard equipment in all forwardcontrol cabs produced by Atkinson Vehicles Ltd.. Preston, Lancs. The bonnet covers are also available, at extra cost, for vehicles already in service. Other optional extras now offered to add to driver comforts in Atkinson vehicles are transparent sun visors and automatic radiator shutters.
