CUMMINS AND Valvoline have set up a joint venture, CV Lubricants Company, to market lubricants for heavy-duty diesel engines in the UK and Ireland.
The new operation follows similar partnerships in India and China, which have been successful in increasing market share. Fleetguard will support the venture with its filtration products.
Although CV Lubricants won't be revealing its Euro-4 engine oil until the autumn, Cummins will be showing a Euro-4 ISBe unit at the CV Show in April. It will feature SCR technology with a new 300hp/1,100Nm flagship.
