NATIONAL CARRIERS Contract Services has made three appointments in its distribution, publication and engineering departments.

Mike Metcalf has become distribution systems manager based at the Merton Centre in Bedford. He was previously corporate finance assistant with the parent National Freight Consortium. Before that he was an investment analyst with the NFC.

Peter Gordon has been made contract manager in charge of the publications contract, based at London Kings Cross. He was previously product development manager at the Merton Centre with NCCS.
