The used arm of Volvo Trucks has launched an incentive scheme for buyers of 1998-registered FL6 18-tonne boxvans. They will have a full service and MoT, a I2-month warranty and 12 months' preventive maintenance. Peter Groome, head of asset management at Volvo Trucks, says:"There has been increased demand for 18-tonne vehicles this year and this offer is an opportunity to provide some

additional peace of mind for the operator."

The deal combines an 'on-the-road' package for the customer with guaranteed servicing work for the dealer. Last year Volvo Trucks offered a 0% finance deal — Groome says the emphasis in the new package is added value, providing a service operators can't buy at independent dealerships. The offer is available throughVolvo Trucks' 15 used dealerships; but more than 120 service

points are able to carry out the service and warranty work.

"For example, you can buy it in Scotland and get it serviced in Wales or wherever your operation is based," says Groome.

The deal is available through the UK and Ireland with an option to extend the package beyond 12 months.
