A NEW 25 million dollar truck transmission plant for a division of Eaton Axles was officially opened today by Eaton's president Paul A. Miller.

The plant at St Nasaire in France is Eaton's third European plant producing heavy duty vehicle transmissions and the sixth within the company's European truck components group.

It offers a full range of drive axles, brakes, trailer axles and skid control systems.

During the planning stages of the plant management took the opportunity to introduce the latest manufacturing and quality technology drawn from Eaton's worldwide operation.
