Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

LAST YEAR'S interruptions to the Newhaven-Dieppe ferry service have prompted SCAC to move its Britain-France trailer service to run by the Townsend Thoresen Southampton-Le Havre crossing.

The company, which operates tilt, supercube, and flat bed trailers, has been making increasing use of Southampton since the Dieppe ferry ramp was damaged last year, and has opted for the Southampton crossing because of less congested road access, and the port's closeness to access routes to the Midlands and North of England.

It has moved its British depot to 1 Canute Road, Southampton.
