Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

HE ORGANISATION of 'sachets of Transport Studies 'old its annual conference eerier this month, and listened to iccounts of the teaching of ransport in other EEC :ountries, especially West Gernany and the Republic of Ireand.

As a result, they are to expand heir contracts with colleagues n the EEC — and in other :ountries too — with a view to mriching their own teaching )rogrammes and widening the lorizons of their students.

Another spin-off from the con'erence was the idea of bringing :ransport studies into the mainWean of academic teaching in Jusiness and management ;tudies and administration.

As one member put it: "There are many people in the management of business and public corporations who have to take decisions about transport without adequate insight into its problems — we should not restrict ourselves to teaching the transport specialists."

The OTTS met at the North Worcestershire College at Bromsgrove for the last time — the residential quarters that they have used for some years now are to be sold.

Immediate steps are being taken to find a new home for the conference, which attracted 38 lecturers from all parts of Britain.
