• "Professionalism in Transport" is to be the subject of the paper to be given by FTA director Mr Hugh Featherstone to the oneday conference of the Industrial Transport Association in Birmingham on November 17. Mr T. H. Campbell Wardlaw will give a paper on "Transport Legislation" and Mr F. H. Woodward (transport and distribution manager, Plessey Group of Companies) will speak on "An Operator's View of Legislation".
The conference fee will be £5 per member (including lunch, drinks, morning coffee and afternoon tea) and £3 for registered ITA students.
