Lord Derwent. Minister of State at the Home Office, told Lord Faringdon, who raised the matter, that the Government was aware of his concern and of the need to review the existing controls. He pointed out that this country was a signatory to the European Agreement on the international carriage of dangerous goods which was expected to come into operation within the next year.
