It will pay the visitor to examine the six excellent exa,mplos of body-work here shown. The. heaviest loadcarrying equipment is a lorry type a body mounted on a four-ton Albion chassis. Then we have a boxvan body mounted on a Straker-Squire machine, and a brewer's lorry body also fitted on this same make of chassis ; each model is capable of carrying three-ton load. The three remaining exhibits consist of a 24seated torpedo char-h.-banes body fitted to a 30 h.p, Dennis machine, a private hotel omnibus with 10 seats mounted on a Straker-Squire chassis, and a box-van body fitted to a two-cylinder machine by the same maker.

The fact that the bodywork turned out by this concern, both for industrial and pleasure vehicles, is fitted by the leading manufacturers of machines throughout the country, is alone sufficient evidence of the quality of its constructions. A typical example which will be exhibited on this stand is a box-van body mounted on a 16-20 lep. Wolseley chassis.

12] [12 This well-known concern will demonstrate its progressive policy by exhibiting some excellent examples of bodywork. In addition to the manufacturing of

tires and lighting outfits, this company is doing a large business in body construction. Four different constructions of bodies will be on view, a typical example being a van body mounted on. a five-ton Hallford chassis constructed for Messrs. Simmons and Cotter.

• The prominent position which this undertaking holds in the industry for body building is a natural sequence of the high-class quality of its productions. Visitors will have an opportunity of examining two typical examples of body-work which the company turns out. The exhibit consists of a 12-16 h.p. fourcylinder Unic taxicab, and a 15-cwt. light delivery van, the body being of the detachable boarded tilttype.

This old-established concern shows its enterprise by exhibiting a type of body which is usually fitted only to machines of heavy load-carrying capacity. We refer to the tilt van body. Two examples of this type will be on view, each capable of being loaded up to one ton ; they will undoubtedly appeal to many visitors as being a well-finished form of utility body to carry medium loads. There will also be staged by this maker a 15-cwt. box-van body.

A very substantial exhibit will be staged by this firm, consisting of the following. A five-ton Foden steamer fitted with "R.S." patent resilient wheels_ A three-ton Foden with covered body ; the wheels are shod with rubber tires, and a Uwe delivery van. fitted with a. smart west-end type of body. There will also be an array of " R.S." wheels, forgings, etc.

The chief exhibit on this stand will be an imposing Veneeta, box-van type of body mounted on a Hanford chassis of the War Office subsidy type. On account of the manner of construction, Venesta boards and panels are unshrinkable and waterproof ; they are thus admirably adapted for use in the building of bodies for industrial machines. A celebrated London example is the "Johnnie Walker" Cornmerear van.
