with pit jacks, trailer lifts and full-height work platforms to get at marker lights, curtain rails and roof panels.
The workshop is staffed by four time-served LGV mechanics, all with 1--lalclex and Knorr Bremse training. From next month they will also work on tail-lifts.
More than 95% of the trailer fleet passes through the workshop for repairs and annual testing, but the firm also uses a few selected service agents.
Monthly tyres checks are handled by ATS; Trailer Resources and its customers both receive copies of these reports. Tyre costs have fallen significantly over the past two months, much to the delight of the firm's accountants.
