Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A TRANSLUCENT plastics panel is 11. incorporated in the roof assembly of a 74-seat metal-framed double-deck bus body built by Willowbrook, Ltd., Lough, borough, and mounted on a Daimler 30-ft. chassis. The vehicle is for demonslration purposes_ The plastics panel, which is of glassfibre reinforced polyester resin, is tinted to give a warm sunlit effect and to reduce the direct heat transferred to the saloon on sunny days. To combat the condensation usually associated with a singleskin ceiling a series of vents is arranged along each side at the top of the, coving panels where they join the plastics panel.

The roof is virtually in one piece and the translucent panel is fixed along both longitudinal edges, with a limited number of screws across the roof. These screws have leather and metal washers to picvent vibration.

Aluminium roof sticks are employed. lt is intended to cover them with a thermoplastic material which will present a reasonably soft edge should a passenger inadvertently strike his head against one. The plastics panel is smooth on both sides to avoid the possibility a soot and dirt lodging in its surfaces.
