Mr. J. Taylor, for the council, said buses which were supposed to run to Iverley were now turning round a mile before the village and there had been complaints from residents. Forty-nine villagers had protested that they had suffered considerable hardship.

For the company, Mr. J. B. Griffiths said they realized their obligation to provide unrcmunerative services and they would restore the full route as soon as a turning point could be round in the village.

A.E.C. COACHES FOR MONTE-CARLO

TWO A.E.C: coaches operated by Sheffield United Tours, Ltd., will leave Sheffield on Sunday bound for Monaco, and the Monte-Carlo Rally. They will be carrying British competitors' wives on a three-day journey via London. Paris and Valence.

On arrival, one of the vehicles, a Regal IV, will become a mobile headquarters for the Monte-Carlo British Competitors' Club, with a reception desk and a battery of telephones. The other coach, a Reliance, will be used to run a service round the main hotels, picking up competitors for the Pare Ferrnd,
