• A driver who broke his neck and shoulder three years ago in a road accident has issued a writ against his then-employer, RIC Services of Riverway, Harlow, Essex.
Dennis Mortimer of Stevenage is claiming in the High Court for damages resulting from his injuries following the accident in the town in February 1991.
Mortimer also claims negligence: he alleges the company did not maintain his vehicle properly and that this was the cause of the accident. He also accuses RiC Services of "covering up the facts".
