• Receivers have begun selling the assets of RDB Freight Lines ahead of the first meeting of creditors since the company's collapse.
No buyers have been found for the £10m-turnover business which ceased trading on 23 December, a spokesman for Arthur Anderson confirmed this week. Some of RDB's vehicles have already been sold at auction.
The company operated 140 vehicles, some leased, from freehold and leasehold depots at Birmingham, Glasgow, Leeds, Sheffield, Southampton and Hitchin, Herts.
No date has yet been set for the first creditors' meeting.
