Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THREE DIRECTORS OF North-West Renault Trucks dealer JDS Trucks have bought the company from its previous owner, Peter Harper, for an undisclosed sum.

The new owners of the dealership, which has sites in Blackburn. Leeds and Manchester, are Mark Griffiths. Peter Glover and Richard Davies. Dealer principal Davies, who joined two years ago, says the deal comes at a very difficult time for the industry "Although times are challenging, we are very much looking forward. Our plan is to build on the already well-known JDS brand and continue to run a high-quality business as usual," he says.

JDS Trucks previously had a fourth site in Oldham, Lanes, which now belongs to DAF Trucks dealer F&G Commercials.

RenaultTrucks has named Mark Patterson as its new regional sales manager working with northern dealers on the manufacturer's used truck programme. He will also support general sales manager Mike Finney.

Patterson says: "Used Renault commercial vehicles are gaining an increasing reputation in the UK market for quality and productivity at a competitive price and I'll be working very closely with the UK dealer network, particularly in the North, to develop opportunities for the brand." •
