• Trailer manufacturer Nene Trailers of Wisbech has closed its factory with a loss of 16 jobs. A creditors' meeting is set for 21 December, when voluntary liquidation is planned.
Nene Trailers was set up by Colin Fryett in 1972 to repair trailers. It then began to build special trailers for agricultural equipment, especially for overseas customers.
Fryatt's son Steve says: "Nene's demise is really a consequence of export orders just drying up."
