of minor revisions to its ferry sailings over the Christmas period. On its Harwich/Hook of Holland route, the Koningen Beatrix will be withdrawn from service from 28-30 December inclusive. During this period, sailings will be reduced to one per day each way 11.15 Harwich/Hook; 22.45 Hook/ Harwich.
On Sealink's Dover/ Dunkerque and Zeebrugge crossings, the Seafreight Freeway will be withdrawn from service from 21 December until 2 January 1988. Operators are advised to check timetables for the intervening services.
0 Sealink British Ferries says that its contract freight rates for RO-R0 traffic via Dover and Folkestone will go up by 70p per metre for both accompanied and unaccompanied traffic with effect from 1 January.
The existing rate for small vehicles, less than 5.5m long remains at 275. The driver's fare, where applicable, is increased to 212.
