Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Keywords : Tires, Michelin, Tread, Bearing, Radial

WHEREAS the cross-ply tyre was fast running out of tread 25 years ago, Francois Michelin, head of the company bearing his name, believes that "the continued development of the radial concept is almost unlimited."

He told the Plastics and Rubber Institute so after the Duke of Edinburgh had presented him with the institute's gold medal, at a ceremony at Buckingham Palace. It was in recognition of Michelin's development and promotion of the radial, which said the institute, had revolutionised the tyre industry. That's what comes of going round in circles.
