Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

FOR the current rationing period, 10 additional clothing coupons .ca-n be issued to a wide range of workers in agriculture and industry. This extra ration is usually known as the " Industrial Ten." It is similar to that given out in the 1942-43 period, workers eligible being mainly the sante.

Part-time workers in eligible occupations may apply if they work 22 hours a .week or more, also supervisory workers if they be . exposed to conditions hazardous to clothing.

They will be issued, as before, through the local offices of the Ministry of Labour to employers for distribution to workers, and be available to them and to trade union branches until February 26.

Workers must obtain Form E.D.292 from their employer . or trade union branch, and return -these, completed, to the source. Employers should apply to the local offices. of the M.O.L. for these forms, also for a collective form, E.D.294, for the extra coupons. Selfemployed workers use Form, E.D.2.93, from the local office of the M.O.L.

Bus drivers, etc., • who already normally have uniforins are not eligible.

The following is a list of trades and occupations which mainly concern. . our readers:—Agriculture, production, refinement and bulk distribution of oil, production and manipulation of plastics, oils, fats and -greases, production and treatment of metals, manufacture of 'metal products or those largely or mainly of metal, manufacture of rubber and synthetic rubber and goods made frOm them, building and contracting, including the alteration and demolition -of roads, trolleybus routes, tramways, etc., the operation of coaches, buses and trolleybuses, goods vehicles, wheeled and track. laying agricultural and industrial tractors and trailers, construction repair, scrapping and maintenance (including cleaning) of vehicles as above, wholesale and retail distribution of coal arid coke, and food other than confectionery, laboratory chemists and workers, workers engaged in loading and unloading heavy, dirty, or corrosive goods, garage workers.
