Cool collection
• Speakers on everyaspect of the cold distribution chain will deliver seminars at the Controlled Temperature Distribution into the next Millenium conference. Organised by Transfrigoroute and Distribution Business magazine, the conference is planned for 14 September at the Centennial Centre, Birmingham.
Dusseldorf fair
• The eighth annual international trade fair for Transport and Logistics, to be held in Dusseldorf on 1315 March, is expected to attract 10,000 visitors to see a range of transport and warehousing theme exhibits. The European Transport Trophy will also be awarded.

24hr Swiss run
• From September Anchor Euro Transport is offering a guaranteed 24 hour service to Switzerland from Manchester. Feeders will supply the service from Rainham, Ipswich and Heathrow while its existing groupage service will operate daily with a 60-hour transit time.

Scammell outing
• The next Scammell Road Run will be held at the Whitbread Hop Farm at Paddock Wood, Kent, on 14/15 October. Scammell owners can camp from the Friday night and there will be a barbecue and film show in one of the Hop Farm's restaurants.
