used with any two-hook lifting gear to lift and tow vehicles with large overhangs without the risk of damaging bumpers or underbody.
Deflated the mattress measures 8ft by 5ft by 2in and it is inserted between nylon belts which are strung between the axle of the damaged vehicle and the lifting hooks of the wrecker. The bag is then inflated either from the damaged vehicle air system or an air bottle carried on the wrecker. When the towing hooks are raised the load is spread evenly across the mattress.
The complete system comprises four nylon straps, two hook chains, one mattress and inflation valve with overload protection.
