Bonded single-line instrumentation tube, Dekabon 1300, marketed by Industrial Hydraulics, is suitable for pneumatic or low-pressure hydraulic systems and, says the company, it is 80 per cent lighter than drawn copper tube; it can be installed using the same support points and is easily bent by hand.

The laminated construction consists of an aluminium tube, coated on the inner surface with ethylene acetate copolymer and a high-density polyethylene outer jacket, and is available in jjn.(6.3mm, 4in. (9.5mm) and (12.7mm) od. Dekabon is designed for use with standard compression fittings.
