• Every operator who is now taking ielivery of a new Volvo truck now receives certificate testifying to the power output and smoke emission level of the installed ;ngine. The certificate is produced in graph brin and is prepared during a pre-delivery nspection carried out at the Barrhead leadquarters of Ailsa Trucks, Volvo's UK ;onces sionair e.
During the standard pre-delivery nspection, every Volvo truck is fully hecked on a Clayton chassis dynamometer nd a certified output rating within the limits BS Au 141a produced for every power nit.
Smoke emission is also measured using a Iartridge Smokemeter Mk 3 and this nsures that it is below the levels laid down y British Standards.
