Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

I N the Castle Museum here, we have a rival to John Boyd Dunlop's first pneumatic tyre,. which I see has gone to the Festival of Britain in London from the Royal Scottish Museum, Edinburgh. Ours is, I think. the oldest of his pneumatic tyres to be commercially produced. It is on a bicycle which belonged to the late Thomas Humber a pioneer of the cycle trade who, in 1890, built a bicycle weighing only 23 lb., which Dunlop himself described as a masterpiece of engineering. Among three inscriptions on our model is one which runs "The Patent DunlopWelch Multiflex Pneumatic Tyre"; for the Dunlop company, I believe, took over the Welch business.
