The race is on for MAN
FOR SOME EXTRA-FAS1 delivery work, MAN has just the job — the TGS 18.480 race truck, belonging to Bird's Motorsport. which has a Tweaked D26 engine that develops more than 1,000hp. Operators looking for maximum payloads should find its 5.5-tonne tare weight attractive, too. Chris Levert of Bird's currently leads the 2008 Delphi British Truck Racing Championship. MAN's TGX and TGS ranges made their official UK show debut at Birmingham.
