AT the national committee meeting of the Lorry. •Driver of the Year competition on Tuesday it was decided that
a trophy will be awarded to the best novice in the final run-off (after the class finals) who has not qualified for any other award. It will be the Joseph Lucas Trophy.
The committee also accepted the offer by The Commercial Motor to entertain the lorry driver of the year and his trans port manager or employer as guests at this journal's Fleet Management Con ference in London on September 24.
